Pakistan exempts vaccinated inbound travellers from PCR tests

Pakistan issued new guidelines for international inbound travellers that came into effect on February 24.

Passengers fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will not be required to possess a mandatory negative PCR Test Result conducted within the 48 hours prior to commencement of travel to Pakistan.

Only non-vaccinated passengers wishing to travel to Pakistan will be required to possess a mandatory negative PCR Test Result conducted within the 72 hours prior to commencement of travel to Pakistan.

As regards vaccination guidelines for inbound travel to Pakistan, Passengers between 12 and 18 years of age may travel to Pakistan without proof of COVID-19 vaccination up to March 31, 2022, and passengers below 12 years of age are exempted from possessing proof of mandatory COVID-19 vaccination for inbound travel to Pakistan

Deportees will be tested on arrival using Rapid Antigen Testing and positive cases will be home-quarantined for 10 days.
