MoH warns against use of 2 infants' formulas

Muscat: The Ministry of Health on Monday announced that it has received a notification from the manufacturer of Similac Elecare (for infants younger than 1 year) and Similac Elecare Jr (for children older than 1 year).
The manufacturer said it had received consumer complaints regarding the possibility of bacterial contamination in the country of origin (the USA).
The Ministry of Health called on consumers to stop using the two products as a precautionary measure.
The ministry explained that the other products that are available in the local market are not included in this warning.
