Travel to Jabal al Akhdar without 4WD?

 
Muscat: The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning has said that there are plans to develop a city project in Al Jabal al Akhdar, which can be accessed from South Batinah by all types of vehicles including the ones that are not four-wheel drives.

He said there is flexibility when comes to the ownership of property for citizens who do not reside in Al Jabal al Akhdar.

A study is underway for the planned economic development of Al Jabal al Akhdar in coordination with all competent agencies, the minister said at the annual press conference on Monday.

Currently, a 4x4 vehicle is needed to pass by the checkpoint for Al Jabal Al Akhdar, along with the driving license and car registration papers.
