HH Sayyid Fahd receives Iranian minister

Muscat: HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers on Wednesday received Seyyed Reza Fatemi Amin, Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran, head of the Iranian side at the Omani-Iranian Joint Economic Committee
The minister conveyed greetings from the Iranian leadership and their best wishes to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and the people of the Sultanate of Oman more progress and prosperity.
HH Sayyid Fahd asked the Iranian minister to convey greetings of the Sultanate of Oman’s leadership and wishes of continued success to the Iranian leadership and the friendly Iranian people more progress and prosperity.
The meeting reviewed the existing bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing joint cooperation in the economic areas to the interests of the two friendly countries.
The two sides also reviewed development on the local and international arenas.
Seyyed Reza affirmed his country’s appreciation for the balanced foreign policy followed by the Sultanate of Oman and its support to dialogue between nations. —Oman TV
