CBO, SQU sign cooperation programme

Muscat: The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) and Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), on Tuesday signed a cooperation programme aimed at benefiting from scientific and practical experiences in the fields of academy, financial and innovation technology.
The programme was signed by HH Sayyid Dr Fahad bin Al Julanda al Said, SQU Vice-Chancellor and Tahir bin Salim al Amri, Executive President, Central Bank of Oman (CBO).
The programme is aimed at developing education in the field of financial technology and financial innovation, providing students with new knowledge and information by examining the possibility of offering a course in financial technology and financial innovation. It also targets to organize joint scientific conferences and exchange visits.
As per the programme, the Central Bank of Oman will receive students from the College of Economics and Political Science for summer training. — ONA
