“Oman without plastic” campaign launched in Al Buraimi

Al Buraimi: The environment department in the Governorate of Al Buraimi launched “Oman without plastic” campaign which aims to step up inspections and boost the awareness of companies, establishments and commercial stores in stopping the usage of single-use plastic bags.
The campaign, which is ongoing till April 2022, will help in preserving the Omani environment.
Specialists will make continuous field inspections to factories of plastic bags and supermarkets in the Governorate of Al Buraimi to ensure that the bags comply with the set standards.
