ROHM celebrates tenth anniversary as an iconic cultural destination

Muscat: The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM), which is considered a leading cultural and artistic destination in the Sultanate of Oman, celebrated its tenth anniversary on Sunday.
Since its opening in 2011, ROHM has hosted a list of diverse performances, including opera performances, Arabic music concerts, family shows, and others, whether from the Sultanate or abroad.
Equipped with the latest audio and video technologies that are suitable to stage all types of shows ranging from individual performances to small and big concerts, ROHM plays a prominent role in advancing human taste and enhancing communication between peoples by presenting a common human cultural heritage.
It has hosted a number of the most prominent international artists and works to strengthen the cultural movement at the regional and international levels through its program that emphasizes spreading the spirit of rapprochement between peoples and promotes communication and cultural exchange within many disciplines.
The house also celebrates National Day annually by presenting a military parade for all local and international military teams, in addition to providing free performances for school students, attended by hundreds of children, and has contributed to introducing the local audience to various shades of music and various musical instruments. The House frequently hosts the (Open House) event, which is a day for families to get to know the House and enjoy its various shows.
