Foreign minister meets honorary consuls

MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, on Wednesday held a meeting with Honorary Consuls of the Sultanate of Oman to Denmark, Frankfurt, Cyprus, Ireland, Armenia and Hungary.
The meeting came within the framework of the visit programme set by the Foreign Ministry for the Honorary Consuls of the Sultanate of Oman.
The meeting reviewed cooperation and means of utilising the investment opportunities between the Sultanate of Oman and their respective countries.
The meeting was attended by Khalid bin Hashel al Musalhi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department, and a number of officials at the ministry.
It is worth mentioning that the honorary consuls visited the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion in the Expo 2020 Dubai and lauded its embodiment of the civil heritage and future vision of the Sultanate of Oman.

Meanwhile, Sayyid Badr also received Dr Mantas Adomenas, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of Lithuania.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries. They underscored their keenness to consolidate these ties in various fields.
The two sides also exchanged views on several regional and international matters of common concern.
The meeting was attended by Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy, the Foreign Ministry’s Under-Secretary for Diplomatic Affairs, Renatas Norkus, Ambassador of Lithuania to the Sultanate of Oman, and officials from both sides. — ONA
