HM receives greetings from State Council chairman

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Tuesday received greetings from Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah bin Ali al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, on the 11th of January Anniversary, the day when His Majesty assumed reins of power, reading as follows:
Your Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik,
On my own behalf and on behalf of the honourable members and employees of the State Council, we have the honour to extend to Your Majesty our sincere greetings on the second anniversary of Your Majesty’s accession to the throne, expressing our loyalty to Your Majesty, emphasizing our commitment to your approach and following your directives and making every effort to enhance the contributions of the State Council to achieve the objectives of development.

As we are pleased to express to Your Majesty our pride and honour on this glorious national occasion, we express our greetings to Your Majesty praying to Allah Almighty to guide and support you and preserve you as an asset and pride for the nation and a haven for your people and as a leader of its Renewed Renaissance. We, at the same time express our full confidence that the approach that Your Majesty had announced in the Royal speech on the day you assumed the throne and the legislations and structural amendments that you issued afterwards, will push the wheel of development forwards with God’s help and support and with your firm determination and care.
