NBO awarded by MoSD for supporting people with disabilities

 
MUSCAT: National Bank of Oman (NBO) was recently awarded by the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD)for its continuous work supporting people with disabilities in Oman. The award was announced during an event organised by the Ministry to celebrate the International Day of Disabled Persons, held under the patronage of HH Sayyida Dr Mona Fahad al Said, the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), and in the presence of Dr Laila Ahmed al Najjar, the Minister of Social Development.

Through its active corporate social responsibility programme, NBO continues to fulfil its commitment to giving back to the community, while fostering partnerships between the private and public sectors. Its activities, which are carried out throughout the year, include a range of educational and youth-led programmes, donations and sponsorships, all aimed at supporting the government’s vision for social and economic development.
