OHA friendly club tournament concludes

MUSCAT: Oman Hockey Association (OHA) concluded the friendly quartet hockey matches between Sultanate of Oman club and Sri Lankan club teams, under the auspices of Basil bin Ahmed al Rawas, Under-secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Sports and Youth, at the hockey ground of Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Baushar.
Oman’s Ahli Sidab and Suhar, the two teams that have qualified for His Majesty’s Hockey Cup final, and Sri Lanka’s Colombo and the military team, took part in the championship which was held in commemoration of 40 years of diplomatic relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Sri Lanka.
On the final day Suhar beat Colombo 9-1.
The military team held Ahli Sidab to a 4-4 draw in the final before the military team won the match 6-4 through penalty shootout.
