Ministry holds job tests in North Al Sharqiyah

IBRA: In response to the Royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to pay attention to national job-seekers, the Ministry of Labour conducted tests and interviews for a number of job vacancies in the public sector at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate on Saturday.
Salim bin Khalfan al Wuhaibi, head of the team tasked with managing tests and interviews at the Ministry of Labour, told Oman News Agency (ONA) that 307 holders of bachelor’s degree and post-GED diploma are vying for 41 job vacancies at a number of government units. The candidates included 286 applicants from North Al Sharqiyah Governorate contending for 29 jobs vacancies at the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources and the University of Technology and Applied Sciences. This is in addition to another 21 applicants vying for 12 job vacancies at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources. — ONA
