Meethaq’s National Day offers to continue till December end

MUSCAT: In line with its commitment to strong participation in national events and offering the best value proposition to its customers, Meethaq, the pioneer of Islamic banking in Oman from Bank Muscat, is continuing to celebrate the Sultanate’s Glorious 51st National Day with a number of special deals and exclusive offers for its customers. The bank has announced that the special offers will continue till the end of December 2021.
Meethaq Islamic Banking currently has several offers for the benefit of its customers including a cash incentive of RO 51 when opening a Term Deposit of RO 5,000 or more for a period of 3 years and above. New Meethaq customers can also get gift voucher of RO 51 on starting a Hafawa Priority Banking relationship with a deposit of RO 30,000 during this period. Meethaq Credit cardholders will also get a chance to win RO 51 every month for a period of three months if they are amongst the 100 highest spenders each month.
An attractive profit rate of only 4.99% is currently available to all customers who apply for home, auto and personal financing facilities during the National Day campaign. All new and existing Meethaq customers availing fresh financing from the bank can benefit from this offer, which is available for Omani nationals working in government institutions as well as semi-government and Tier 1 companies. Hafawa Private Banking Customers who book a safe deposit locker for a full year will be given free locker services, while a massive 75% special discount on annual rentals for lockers for the 1st year, is available to all customers having a Meethaq account.
Meethaq allocated total prize money worth RO 51,000, which was given away to 51 lucky winners during the special 51st National Day draw. Going ahead, the bank has invited its customers to win exciting cash prizes in upcoming draws by increasing their savings in the Meethaq Hibati Savings account, which is based on the unrestricted Mudarabah contract. The cash prizes offered under Hibati’s 2021 prize draw scheme are ‘Hiba’ (gift) from Meethaq to its customers and are paid out of the Mudarib’s /shareholders’ own sources. The cash prizes are over and above the profit share of Investment Account Holders (IAHs) in the General Mudarabah Pool as per the declared profit sharing weightages.
