Omani-Bahraini company formed with RO10 million capital

 
Muscat: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) has announce the establishment of an Omani-Bahraini company with a capital of RO10 million.

Eng. Redha bin Juma al Saleh, chairman of the Board of Directors of OCCI, said that the company, which will be equally divided between Omani and Bahraini businessmen, will focus in the field of food security and integrate existing companies working in the sector

In the first phase, the company will focus on investing in the Sultanate of Oman and then move to invest in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The chambers of two countries will each contribute 10 percent during the establishment stage.

A committee has been formed from both sides to establish the company and the board of directors will be formed completed before the end of this year.
