Annual tennis tournament at ISC court

Muscat: Much awaited Indian Social Club Oman annual tennis tournament took off at the ISC Tennis court on 23rd November. In addition to the club members event, men’s doubles and veteran’s doubles opened for all nationalities.
In the combined event of girls and boys under 12, little girl Sanabhi Ail beat Nuaim Shanawaz in the finals scoring 8-5.
Undoubtedly both are best players but Sanabhi had to muster all her resources to stave off the determined challenge of Nuaim before emerging winner with scores of 8-5. In other matches, Jaza Junaith beat Steve scoring 6-2 while Nuha beat Rahul scoring 8-5 and Devdutt beat Atif 8-1. Rohit beat Kashyap scoring 8-5 while Darsag beat Neil 8-0 and Shantanu beat Nuha scoring 8-1.
