Principals’ meet debates ways to improve school administration

The Directorate of Education in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate recently held a meeting of school principals with a view to improving the administrative work.

The meeting, chaired by Director General Saif bin Mubarak al Julandani, was also attended by Ali bin Mohammed al Shukaili, Assistant Director General for Administrative, Financial Affairs and Projects, directors of departments and their assistants acting on their behalf.

The four sessions of the conference were organised in different places — the Department of Education in Samayil, a multi-purpose hall at Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Nizwa, and Aisha Al Riyamiyah School.

The meeting aimed at improving the administrative work by enhancing the performance of school principals and exchanging experiences in the field of management and educational situations among them.

The meeting also helped them update on major educational developments and modern technology in the field of school administration.

The Director General congratulated the participants on the glorious 51st National Day, expressing his thanks for the efforts that were made to advance the educational process in the governorate by following up on schools and seeing their needs. He also praised the implementation of schools’ operational plan under these circumstances.

Ali bin Mohammed al Shukaili also spoke, referring to the administrative measures taken, activating parents’ councils, and reviewing financial matters in the school.
