Foreign minister receives UN Special Envoy for Syria

Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister received on Thursday Geir Pederson, UN Special Envoy for Syria.
The two sides reviewed the efforts exerted to come up with a consensual solution for the Syrian crisis to meet the aspirations of the Syrian people.
The meeting was attended by Khalid Hashel al Musalhi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department, plenipotentiary minister Mahmoud Khamis al Hinai, Acting Minister of the Arab Levant Department at the Foreign Ministry and Sasha Pippenger, Special Assistant to the UN Special Envoy for Syria. --ONA
