50 Winners at the National Day Prize Draw from Maisarah

MUSCAT: In tandem with the Sultanate gearing up for the National Day celebrations, Maisarah Islamic Banking Services – BankDhofar’s Islamic banking window – revealed details of the exclusive prize draw to be conducted on the upcoming November 18. As per the Prize Account scheme, RO 50,000 have been allocated for the National Day special draw with 5 cash prizes, RO 1,000 each, guaranteed for each of the 10 Maisarah branches.
“The aim of this exclusive draw is to share the joy and the sentiments of this jubilant occasion with our customers,” stated Nasser Said al Bahantah, Maisarah’s Chief Retail Banking Officer. “We have witnessed a tremendous turnout for our previous special draws as part of the Prize Account 2021, and we are looking forward to this upcoming event to be celebrated with Maisarah customers nationwide.”
In addition to the National Day special prizes, Maisarah recently announced the winners of the Omani Women’s Day special draw where 10 lucky winners were granted RO 1,000 each during a special draw that took place on October 17, 2021.
Moreover, Maisarah had revealed additional cash prizes with a total prize amount of RO 52,800 for 68 winners during special draws to be held in December 2021 for healthcare professionals, teachers, retirees, Ministry of Defense and Royal Oman Police employees, as well as new Maisarah customers and existing customers with new credit cards.
Valid through December 31, 2021, weekly prizes of RO 100 each are also granted to three winners from each branch, with total number of 30 winners every week. Moreover, there are exclusive prizes for children in the monthly draws where one winner per branch is awarded RO 100, with total number of 10 winners every month.
For Standard and Affluent Banking customers, there are monthly prizes of RO 500 each for one winner per branch, with total number of 10 winners every month. Meanwhile, Priority Banking Customers have the chance to win RO 2,000 each for one customer from every branch, with total number of 10 winners every month.
There are also Mid-year Grand Prizes where three lucky winners from across Maisarah branch network will win RO 1,000 in the children category, RO 5,000 in the Standard and Affluent Banking category, and RO 10,000 in the Priority Banking category. Additionally, in the Year-end Mega Prizes, three lucky winners from across Maisarah branch network will win RO 2,000 in the children category, RO 10,000 in the Standard and Affluent Banking category, and RO 100,000 in the Priority Banking category.
In addition to the expected profit of up to 2.5% per annum (subject to the weightages applicable for each month), the account - which is a personal savings account that is based on the Islamic concept of Mudaraba - allows customers to win cash prizes distributed from the shareholders’ funds. Each RO 100 gives customers the chance to win cash prizes as per terms and conditions of the scheme, and winners are randomly selected by an automated system in line with the approved procedures for the prize draws.
