MUSCAT: Hill International, delivering the infrastructure of change, will be virtually joining the International Project Management (IPM) Day on November 4 that is being observed globally.
The IPM Day was created to recognise the hard work, dedication, and often unappreciated efforts of the over 17 million project managers who ensure successful delivery of projects and services worldwide, said a posting on the website of the US-based Project Management Institute.
The Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is a much sought after accreditation for professions in the construction industry, including several in Hill International.
Tarek Abbas, project director with Hill International Oman office in Muscat, has completed the PMI course and said completing the certification added to his knowledge base substantially and prepared him to meet the demand of projects and employers across the globe.
Abdo Kardous, Hill International’s Middle East President, said: “Hill International has carried out some of the most iconic projects in Oman including the Muscat and Salalah International Airports, a major expressway, hospitality and industrial projects. As we pursue new opportunities to provide our services, we are always on the lookout for Omani talent and graduates to join us and a PMI certification would be an added asset.”
