As per Royal Orders, horse races season to Kick off tomorrow at Al Rahba Farm

Muscat: In response to the Royal Orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, the horse races season (2021 – 2022) will kick off at Al Rahba Racecourse in the Wilayat of Barka tomorrow (Thursday). The season is organized by the Royal Horse Racing Club.
Dr Sarhan Salim al Zeidi, Director General of the Royal Cavalry, Supervisor General of the Races told Oman News Agency (ONA) that the horse races seasons (2021 – 2022) will include 20 races. He added that the season will witness three major races namely the National Day Cup on November 19, 2021, the Oman Derby Cup on December 18, 2021 and the Final Race on April 1, 2022.
As for the first race to be held tomorrow (Thursday, October 21, 2021), there will be 8 rounds; 6 round will be dedicated for pure Arabian horses whereas 2 rounds will be for thoroughbred horses. --ONA
