Culture, Sports and Youth Ministry awards Omani cultural talents

Muscat: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth o Monday awarded a group of Omani talents in art namely: artist Anwar Khamis al Zedjali for the field of visual arts, and the poet Hassan Obaid al Matroushi for the field of literary arts.
The move comes as part of the ministry’s endeavour to honour Omani talents within the Sultanate and abroad in various intellectual, literary and artistic knowledge fields.
It also aims to present them as role models of cultural giving to future generations, encourage the intellectual, literary and artistic movement, and support the innovative outputs to build this nation.
The Gulf cultural talents' honouring ceremony comes within the framework of the GCC countries' cultural strategy that included organizing many joint Gulf cultural events that contribute to the advancement of joint Gulf contributions, strengthening ties and exchanging experiences among GCC countries. --ONA
