Shura takes part in Vienna meet

Majlis As'shura chairman Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali took part in the fifth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament organised by the Inter-Parliamentary Union in cooperation with the Austrian Parliament and the United Nations in the Vienna on Tuesday. The two-day conference will be discussing several issues, including the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the future of democracy, fighting the spread of misleading information and hate speech on the internet, and the role of parliaments in supporting rational governance.
