RAFO opens recruitment in non-combat military jobs

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Labour in coordination with the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), announced the opening of appointments in medical, educational, engineering and technical jobs.
The ministry said that it is receiving applications for jobs from August 18 to 26.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave his orders to speed up the implementation of employment initiatives that target to provide 32,000 jobs this year including 12,000 jobs in the civil and military sectors.
The employment initiatives also involve the provision of 2,000 jobs in the public sector on temporary contract basis according to the actual needs of the government departments as well as the provision of a total 1 million hours of part-time work in the public sector, and supporting the wages of the newly-appointed Omanis by RO 200.
