608 job-seekers vie for 35 job vacancies in South Al Sharqiyah

 
SUR: Within the framework of the Royal attention accorded by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the employment dossier, and his continuous confirmation that the employment of Omani youth is a top national priority, the Ministry of Labour on Tuesday conducted interviews and tests for unemployed nationals who have applied for job vacancies in a number of the government departments in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

The tests and interviews were conducted at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in the Wilayat of Sur. A total of 608 job applicants are in contention for 35 job vacancies at the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Environment Authority.

Salim bin Khalfan al Wuhaibi, head of a team tasked with the management of tests and interviews at the Ministry of Labour, said that the Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah is the final stop for conducting evaluation and nomination for 1,003 jobs vacancies announced by advertisement No 5/2021. A total of 16,318 job-seekers from all governorates have applied for those jobs including 687 ordinary jobs for which 8,507 job-seekers have applied. The evaluation process was finalized within 25 working days in all governorates. — ONA
