CMA publishes draft info-security guidelines for joint stock companies

The Capital Market Authority (CMA) has published draft Information Security Guidelines for Public Joint Stock Companies for consultation with the stakeholders.
The Authority urged public joint stock companies, audit firms, law firms, investors, academicians and interested persons to offer their feedback on the draft guidelines before they are enacted into law.
The Authority prepared the draft guidelines for information security in collaboration with the National Centre for Cyber Defense and the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology represented by the National Centre for Information Integrity.
The draft guidelines have been posted on the CMA’s website www.cma.gov.om. Any feedback may be emailed at: oep@cma.gov.om.
CMA is preparing another set of information security guidelines for the licensed entities regulated by the CMA.
