Campaign to save Dhofar's aging Baobab trees

MIRBAT: The Directorate-General of Environment in Dhofar Governorate in cooperation with volunteer teams has conducted an environmental campaign to save and preserve rare and aging Baobab trees and protect them from pest and wood-boring insects gnawing on their trunks and branches. Some of the Baobab trees of Dhofar Governorate are 300 years old.
