Oman Met issues alert for heavy rains

Muscat: The chances of heavy rains will continue today (July 22) over South of Muscat governorate and governorates of ( North al Sharqiyah, South al Sharqiyah, Al-Dakhliyay, Al-Dhahirah, North al Batinah, South al Batinah) with precipitation amounts ranges between 20 mm to 60 mm associated with fresh winds, Oman Met said.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has advised all to take precaution during rain and wadis and avoid sailing during the mentioned period.
