Muscat receives rains, wadis overflow in Amerat

The Wilayat of al Amerat received heavy to medium rains on Thursday, which led to flowing wadis in different places.

Several parts of the capital areas also received rains, according to sources.

While dams were also reported to be overflowing, no material or human losses were recorded.

Oman Meteorology has warned of thunderstorms of varying intensity, accompanied by active winds in the governorates of Muscat, South al Sharqiyah, South Al Batinah during the coming hours.

The meteorology added that the governorates of North al Sharqiyah and Al Dakhiliyah will witness varying amounts of rain and thunderstorms in the coming hours.
