Oman participates in Ministerial Conference of Non-Aligned Movement

Muscat: The Sultanate today took part in the Non-Aligned Movement (NMA) Ministerial Conference held under the theme: “Non-aligned Movement at the Center of Multilateral Efforts in Responding to Global Challenges”.

The virtual conference is held during the period (13-14 July) 2021 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The Sultanate was represented by Shaikh Khalifa Ali al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs.

The conference kicked off with a recorded statement of Dr Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The participants reviewed the progress made in implementing outcomes of the NMA 18th Summit, which was held in Baku during (25-26 October) 2019. --ONA
