Council of Oman participates in Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Forum in Uzbekistan

Muscat: The Council of Oman, represented by the State Council and Majlis Ash'Shura participated in the International Forum of Global Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation in Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals.

The virtual two-day forum is organized by the Oliy Majlis (parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The forum aims at exchanging experiences and expertise between parliaments. It also discusses main issues and challenges related to achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs). Moreover, the forum suggests solutions to overcome those challenges.

The Sultanate was represented in the forum by Dr Isam Ali al Rowas, member of the State Council, and Mohammed Ahmed al Madhani, member of the Majlis Ash’Shura. --ONA
