Business activities at Al Seeb Central Market limited to Omanis

Muscat: Proceeding from the Omanisation programme enacted by the govermment to replace expatriate workers with trained Omani personnel, and based on the Muscat Municipality pursuit to enhance the business environment for youthful Omanis, it has been decided;
1- Limiting the engagement of business activities in Al Seeb Central Market (belonging to Muscat Municipality) to Omanis only, effective January 1, 2022.
2- All holders of contracts with Muscat Municipality must correct their situation as of the date hereof.
3- Muscat Municipality and the Ministry of Labour call on everyone to cooperate fully to support Omani cadres by implementing this decision.
