Vision 2040 signs agreement with The Business Year

The Oman Vision 2040 implementation Follow-up Unit has signed a cooperation agreement with The Business Year, with the aim of preparing a detailed report on “Vision 2040 program and the stages of starting its implementation, which will focus on attracting private investments, financial sustainability and empowerment programs such as the economic stimulus.
The Business Year will meet with a number of business owners and officials in the Sultanate who are working to implement this vision with the aim of promoting the Sultanate as a global investment destination by highlighting the steps it is taking towards a more sustainable future. The eighth issue of the magazine will include a special chapter on Oman Vision 2040.
The agreement was signed by Talal bin Sulaiman al Rahbi, Deputy Head of the Unit and the director of the Business Year office in the Sultanate.
Al Rahbi said that the agreement that the government has launched a number of national executive programs for the vision, such as the “Financial Sustainability” program with the aim of adopting a package of financial policies and measures aimed at reducing the fiscal deficit in the public budget.
The state and the reduction of indebtedness while aligning these measures and policies with the requirements of economic growth, and the “Bringing Private Investments to the Sultanate and Supporting Omani Exports in Foreign Markets” program. These programs are the main pillar of government work during the next three years, in addition to other programs that are being studied and developed.
