Foreign minister receives senior advisor to Iran’s FM

MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister received Ali Asghar Khaji, Senior Advisor to the Iranian Foreign Minister for Special Political Affairs, here on Tuesday.

The two sides affirmed the friendship relations between the two countries and their determination to continue bilateral cooperation and partnership in various fields.

On the political side, the two sides exchanged opinions and points of view on a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by Saud bin Ahmed al Barwani, Head of the GCC Department and Ali Najafi, Ambassador of Iran to the Sultanate and a number official. — ONA
