Oman to launch drive-thru vaccination campaign

Work is underway to complete the technical aspects related to the immunization service against Covid-19 inside the car at the Oman Automobile Association, a statement from the Ministry of Health (MOH) said.
The launch date of this service and the target group will be announced upon completion of the regulatory procedures.
The service will be an initiative of the Omani Automobile Association (OAA) and in coordination with the Directorate General of Health Services of the Governorate of Muscat.

MOH has said that vaccinations will become a condition for entering educational and government institutions in the future.
MOH sources added that the ministry will complete immunizing 30 percent of the population before July at the current pace of vaccine supply.
The ministry has announced that the target groups as part of the national campaign for immunization against Covid-19 for June and July would represent a large segment of the population.
