The Embassy of the Sultanate in Rabat has said that the Moroccan authorities announced a package of new measures for arrivals from 72 countries, including the Sultanate of Oman, from June 15.

The measures include a negative PCR test no later than 48 hours from the date of arrival, a travel license, and subject to a 10-day quarantine.

Morocco is reopening to international flights and travellers from key markets from June 15.

Arrivals from June 15 will require a vaccination certificate and/or a negative PCR test at least 48 hours before the date of entry.

Morocco has 2,500 active cases after the expansion of the vaccination roll-out in the country, claimed to the best in Africa.
