HH Sayyid Asaad receives Palestinian Premier

Muscat: Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan received in his office on Wednesday Dr Mohammad Shtayyeh, Prime Minister of the State of Palestine and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting exchanged cordial conversations and reviewed bilateral relations between the Oman and Palestine. It also touched on aspects of the existing cooperation between the two sides to serve the common interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.

The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Riyad Najeeb al Maliki, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine, the two advisers at HH Sayyid Asaad's Office, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, Dr Tayseer Ali Farhat, Palestinian Ambassador to Oman and the delegation accompanying the guest. --ONA
