Students vaccination drive progressing well in Oman

The student vaccination program is progressing well according to plans, confirmed both students as well as officials at the Ministry of Health.
The campaign for Grade 12 students will continue until the beginning of June, before the start of their examinations.
Dr. Thamrah bint Saeed al Ghafri, acting director-general of health services in Muscat, said that the immunization program is progressing well according to plans by following all precautionary measures.
She said students are receiving doses namely at Quriyat Health Complex and Bausher Sports Complex, designated schools in Bausher, Muttrah, Amerat, and Seeb under the supervision of a medical team as per the schedule fixed by the health and education directorates.
According to procedures, students are under observation for 15 minutes to 20 minutes after taking the vaccination and are allowed to leave if they show no symptoms.
