Institutional quarantine back for arriving expat families

Based on the decision made by the Supreme Committee on May 4, 2021, the Civil Aviation Authority said issued new guidelines to all airlines operating in the Sultanate

Institutional quarantine applies to all non-Omani arrivals into the Sultanate, including families with children under the age of 18 from 6 pm on May 11.

The home quarantine for Omani citizens and the other categories excluded under previous circulars will continue to be in place, taking into consideration that the excluded categories will be subject to the approved procedures upon arriving in the Sultanate.
