SAI’s Nazaha programme aims to nurture values

The State Audit Institution (SAI) has started producing the TV and radio programme Nazaha since 2017. This comes within the framework of SAI’s efforts to raise the level of awareness and embed integrity values towards public money and public service, with the use of different media platforms. This year, Nazaha 5 comes with new content and idea and is broadcast daily on TV and radio channels as well as online platforms throughout Ramadhan.

The programme episodes aim to build positive trends and virtuous practices with public funds, promote ethical conduct on public service as well as embed a culture of uprightness and morality in the lives of individuals and society as a whole.

This is because of the significance of developing integrity in individuals to stay away from corruption and thus protect society from negative competition.

As for the idea of the programme and the diversity of its content, Dr Hemyar al Mahrouqi, Director of Media and Communication Department at SAI, stated that the fifth season of the programme is featured with presenting the most significant matters in relation to integrity values towards public property and public service. Each subject matter was highlighted through montaging various video clips taken from the previous 4 seasons and introducing short acting scenes along with general legal content.

Al Mahrouqi added that in 30 episodes, the programme focuses on specific primary themes which are: integrity values and its practices, duties towards public fund and its inviolability, professional values as well as efficient use of resources.

The programme targets different individuals in society and promotes the principle of partnership and collective responsibility towards public money and institutional performance.

The programme was broadcast in different audio, visual and electronic platforms and at different timings throughout the day, which allowed everyone to watch the programme whenever convenient.
