Zubair Small Enterprises Centre (Zubair SEC) members Majed Saud al Battashi and Mahmoud Abdullah al Amri’s company Recycling Services have signed a waste management agreement with Oasis Water Company, leading Omani manufacturer of pure drinking water, and one of the Zubair group of companies.
Majed al Battashi and Mahmoud al Amri are founders of Recycling Services, a waste management company which was among the 10 winners of the Zubair SEC’s flagship Direct Support Programme (DSP) for the year 2017.
The business contract between Recycling Services and Oasis Water Company for waste management and collection was facilitated by Zubair SEC. As part of the agreement, Recycling Services will collect waste on a daily basis and ensure that waste is treated and managed as per standards set by Oman Environmental Services Holding Company (Be’ah) — the government-owned entity that streamlines waste management services in Oman.
The agreement was signed after a successful pilot run between the two companies.
Majed Saud Ahmed al Battashi said, “Mahmoud al Amri and I are tremendously indebted to Zubair SEC for their guidance and knowledge. With the support we have received from the centre, we have been able to expand our operations and set clear development goals for our business. We thank Oasis Water Company for trusting and inspiring us.”
