Zubair Corp extends support to ESO

MUSCAT: As part of its commitment to the environment, The Zubair Corporation (Z-Corp) has extended support to the activities of the Environment Society of Oman (ESO), a non-governmental organisation,which aims to help conserve Oman’s natural heritage and raise awareness about environmental issues. Khalid bin Mohammad al Zubair, Managing Director of Zubair Corporation and HH Sayyida Tania bint Shabib al Said, President of the Environment Society of Oman, were present at a meeting to discuss the support and cooperation. The meeting was also attended by executives of Z-Corp.

As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy, Z-Corp has undertaken a number of socially impactful initiatives. Its policies, practices and initiatives have had a positive impact on social and economic well-being of the country. The extension of this support comes within the framework of achieving the CSR strategies adopted by Z-Corp. Khalid bin Mohammad al Zubair said, “Environmental protection is one of the main pillars of Z-Corp’s corporate philosophy. In this context, we are happy to support ESO’s programmes related to protection, research and conservation.” Thanking Z-Corp, HH Sayyida Tania said, “It is truly admirable for a private company to be so proactive in supporting environmental and conservation work. Beyond support to our work, Zubair group has already made significant efforts to minimise their environmental footprint.”
