Z-Corp extends support to Al Radif football championship

MUSCAT: Showcasing its commitment to promote football across the country, Zubair Corporation (Z-Corp) has extended its support to Hay Al Dhahir team belonging to the Qurayat Club to organise the first Al Radif football championship that started on July 20.
The championship, in which 20 teams are playing, will go on till August 25.
Ibrahim al Salmi, Social Communication Manager at the Zubair Corporation said, “As part of its corporate social responsibility strategy, Z-Corp is actively involved in supporting local sports initiatives. Football is a sport that unifies communities in Oman. This tournament will help fans connect to their teams and increase community participation in the sport. We are aware of the contribution of Qurayat Club to football and we are happy to support them to help discover new talents.”
He added, “Z-Corp has been supporting various activities that encourage young Omanis to take up sports and supporting this event is part of that strategy. It’s a great honour to be part of this initiative and extend our support. With a summer vacation on this is a good time for youngsters to be involved in constructive activities like sports. As a private sector player, Z-Corp is keen on implementing a long-term strategy aimed at providing support for youth to invest their energies positively.”
Z-Corp keenly supports the development of sports in the country and encourage young talents. Demonstrating its continuous commitment to all kinds of sports, Z-Corp has been a partner and sponsor of different sports activities including football, handball, ice sports, volleyball, chess for many years.

Zubair was the main supporter while we established the Hay Al Dhahir football team which was opened under the auspices of Khalid bin Mohammed al Zubair in 2015. The group’s support of the first Al Radif football championship proves Z-Corp’s unflinching support to sports in general and football in particular.”
