Muscat, SEPT 16 - Suhail al Mazrouei, the UAE’s Energy and Industry Minister, visited the Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME), the premier international energy futures and commodities exchange in the Middle East, last week. DME is a joint venture between Dubai Holding, Oman Investment Fund and CME Group. The visiting dignitary was given an overview on DME’s vision and objectives, and attended the pricing window which is used by Oman and Dubai governments, and recently adopted by Saudi Aramco, to calculate official selling prices for customers. Al Mazrouei said: ”We are proud to see such successful businesses operating from the UAE and we are sure that the experience DME have gained over the past decade is an asset for all of us. We congratulate DME on all the milestones realised since inception, and on its latest achievement with Saudi Aramco adopting DME Oman in their pricing formula.”
