By Kaushalendra Singh — SALALAH: Two people were found dead in Dahariz area in eastern Salalah in the wee hours on Sunday. Both of them were from the Indian state of Kerala and in their mid 40s. According to some sources in Dahariz, they were from Ernakulam district of the Indian state and were looking for some business opportunities in Salalah. There has not yet been any reason found behind their deaths. They are identified as Mohammed and Najeeb of village Muvattupuzha in Ernakulam district of Kerala. According to initial reports, the neighbours saw the bodies in the morning and informed the police.

The bodies were found at two different places, one in the victim’s apartment while the other in a nearby building. The neighbours stated that both the victims maintained a very low profile, as hardly anyone near the apartment knew them. “May be due to their place of work in Thamrait from where they were coming daily after work and going early in the morning,” said one of the neighbours who came to know about their work only after the incident. Both Mohammed and Najeeb were stated to be friends and partners in a business in Kerala and looking for some opportunity to start some stone chips crusher unit in Thamrait.
