Congratulations Oman’s football champions for winning the Gulf Cup held in Kuwait. This is a commendable achievement for the country and its people from a team which excelled in its performance. Well done team!
You have done great by sparing no effort in winning every match you have played in the past weeks. Word of thanks are not enough to express people’s appreciation and gratitude to each of the players.
Successful people always keep trying till they get it right. Our champions did. Since the 19th Gulf Cup that was held in Muscat, our team has been trying its best to bring the trophy back home again. However, the right time has just come for them and all of us to celebrate the victory again here.
Since then, we all have been dreaming to win the championship again and repeat the history. As the saying goes, “Success comes only to those who believe in their dreams” and here it comes.
We all believed the time has not come yet for another victory. When the time came, we actually won and achieved success.
The dream eventually came true because we all believed it will happen sooner or later. It’s all a matter of time. Thanks to Oman’s champions for making it come true. It’s a translation of all their efforts and hard work.
It’s also the team work between players themselves and the coach and administration team too. Thanks extended as well to the management of Oman Football Association.
Friday was a historic day indeed. People’s feelings were a mix of stress, panic and desire to win the match. They were stressed because the match was extremely tough between the two teams, Oman and UAE.
Simultaneously, people were passionately looking forward to a win. Our champions won the match after a hard-fought battle. Of course to get to the first place, they fought long and hard. Like the saying goes, ‘No pain, no gain’.
However, we all believe that where there is a will, there is a way and as Walt Disney said: “If you can dream it, you can do it.” Because we all were confident that we will be winning this year’s edition of the Gulf Cup, the outcome was obvious.
The players were confident they could make it. We believed in them.
Omani fans left no stone unturned to be with the players in Kuwait. Some had been staying there and supporting the team, while others were commuting whenever our team was playing a match.
As a matter of fact, the collective support that has been witnessed from individuals, government and private bodies has been commendable. Each one of them was playing a significant role in urging the champions to play well and win matches.
Such support played a very important role in supporting the team and inspiring them to excel. It’s always great to see such cooperation to support Omani talent in different spheres.
It’s thrilling all what we have heard about the rewards that are being presented to our champions in return for the win they have achieved. Cash and other awards are granted to the team by various government and private entities. These are another way of expressing appreciation to the team for bringing victory to the country and recording another sports achievement to the Sultanate. Well-deserved indeed.
