The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) will allocate diamond and gold numbers by auction.
As per the details published in the official gazette on January 14 TRA has issued a statement on the allocation of these special special by auction.
TRA said that the bidding will be conducted through the websites of telecom companies and the company invites all those interested in registering in the auction to follow the updates by these companies on the date of the first online auction for the special numbers (Diamond and Gold).
TRA will oversee the implementation of the regulation of the allocation of numbers by these telecom companies as per the resolution.
It may be recalled that millions of amount were raised through auction, including charity, in auction of numbers in the UAE in recent times.
