CAIRO: A meeting of the Arab Fund for Youth and Sport Activities was held at the Arab League head quarters’ on Sunday under the chairmanship of Khalid Abdulaziz, Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, Head of the Executive Office of the Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports Council.
The Sultanate took part in the meeting by a delegation headed by Sheikh Saad bin Mohammed al Saadi, Minister of Sports Affairs. The Fund’s Board discussed its final accounts and the budget proposed for the next fiscal year, as well as financial allocations for activities and projects scheduled to be organised during the upcoming period among others.
Earlier, Sheikh Saad met at the Arab League head quarters’ with Khalid Abdulaziz, Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, Head of the Executive Office of the Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports Council. The two sides reviewed aspects of cooperation between the Sultanate and Egypt in sport fields, as well as major recommendations that will be submitted at the meeting of the Arab Fund for Youth and Sport Activities of the Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports Council. — ONA
