NIZWA, Feb 18 - A walk was organised by the sports activity team on Saturday from Nizwa Club to Temsa village as a first activity of 2018. Titled ‘Ancestors path from Temsa to Nizwa’, it was a 10-km walk which saw participation from 50 young people. They gathered at 7 am at the Temsa School, from where they moved to the starting point – near Nizwa Club. They had set out to explore the route their ancestors used to move from Temsa and Nizwa. The trip, a mix of hardship and pleasure, included a trek through mountains, hills, valleys and landscapes. They reached their destination in two hours. Othman bin Hamdan al Harasi, the vice-president of the team, thanked the participants and organisers for the trip.
