MUSCAT: The Steering Committee for the Follow-up of the National Economic Diversification Programme ‘Tanfeedh’ Initiatives held its first meeting on Sunday at the Supreme Council for Planning HQs’ under the chairmanship of Sultan bin Salim al Habsi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Planning. The meeting, which comes as part of the efforts made to develop the planning for the innovative finance and financing projects and initiatives, discussed the role of the Secretariat General in implementing a number of initiatives referred to it from Tanfeedh programme, as well as the mechanisms for its follow-up and governance. The meeting also reviewed the proposed work teams to implement such initiatives. It also approved a number of performance indicators and prospective aims from these initiatives. — ONA
