Sultanate wins Qualitative Security Movie award in Tunis

TUNISIA: The Sultanate won the 1st award at the Arab level in the category of Qualitative Security Movie on risks of social networking websites within the framework of the 40th Congress of Arab Police and Security Chiefs in the Tunisian Republic. The award was received by Brigadier Abdullah bin Saleh al Ghailani, Commander of Police in the Governorate of North Al Batinah, Head of the Omani participating delegation.
The congress involved the Arab senior security officials and representatives of the Arab League, the GCC, the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and Arab Police Sports Federation.
The 40th congress discussed several joint security issues, including mechanism of enhancing and accelerating information exchange among the Arab countries’ security apparatuses. — ONA
